Concussion Seminar

In the ever-evolving landscape of concussion management, staying up to date with the latest developments is essential for medical practitioners and therapists alike. This seminar, led by Dr. Tommy Gerschman, pediatric sports medicine specialist, Dr. Verity Stow, chiropractor, and Reza Ghannadan, physiotherapist, will delve into cutting-edge insights and tools, including the recently introduced SCAT6 protocol, designed to enhance concussion assessment and diagnosis.

During the first part of the workshop, Dr. Gerschman will explore emerging trends in concussion management, share intriguing case studies, and elucidate on practical applications of new assessment tools. Dr. Gerschman participates in national research initiatives about concussions in youth and is bringing back relevant information from the latest Concussion Consensus Statement meeting, which occurred in Amsterdam just over a year ago. Participants will gain invaluable insights into identifying, assessing, and managing concussions effectively in clinical practice.

In the second part of the workshop, chiropractor Dr. Verity Stow and physiotherapist Reza Ghannadan will provide a comprehensive approach to treating concussion cases from their respective disciplines. Drawing upon their extensive expertise, they will discuss innovative chiropractic and physiotherapy interventions tailored to address the unique needs of concussion patients.

This workshop offers a unique opportunity for medical practitioners and therapists to enhance their proficiency in concussion management and collaborate with fellow professionals in a dynamic learning environment.

Don't miss this chance to expand your knowledge and refine your skills in concussion management.
